My husband has a door jam in the basement where he has marked off the grandkids' heights...it is amazing how quickly;y they grow...

thanks for stopping in sweet friend!I don't know what I what have done without my Grandparents. They were the true representation of Christ in my life. I'm so glad you and your children have adoptive grandparents in your church body! Awesome! God always makes up for what we don't have. He takes care of it!

I love this! I didn't have grandparents growing up, most of my children didn't/don't either, although we have adopted grand parents within our church body. The wall going into our kitchen is our "growth chart " space...full of the names of our 13 children who have lived in this house, two have not ever lived here being grown-ups , but how fun, how exciting it is to stand the children up against their previous dated measurements and see just how much they have grown. There are LOTS of marks!! Its far more serious, humbling, and challenging to think of God keeping such a wall for our spiritual growth.........but an interesting idea to contemplate!

I'm sorry you didn't get to know your Grandparents. My Grandparents were the life-line to God for me. They are the reason I am who I am today in GOD. They are both in Heaven and I miss them terribly.
